Online learning does not have to involve Zoom! Students are growing tired of the same old e-learning methods.
Goodbye, Zoom Fatigue. Move beyond Zoom and find some unique ideas and tools below. First, some large-scale changes happening in education technology:
Blockchain - A digital ledger being used to securely record student assets such as grades, diplomas, payments, or attendance.
Adaptive Learning - Basically a type of machine learning used for educational purposes in which the presentation of lessons changes over time according to each individual student's learning needs.
Microlearning - Short learning activities that are usually mobile (mlearning).
Virtual Learning Methods - Using online technologies like Learning Management Systems allowing students to access a course 24/7 .
V.R/ A.R - Using an immersive experience in the classroom usually by wearing a headset.
Gamification - Using game-design elements and principles in non-game contexts such as educational environments.
Digital Badging - A way to indicate learner's accomplishments by using an element of gaming, collecting ebadges.
Learning Analytics - Measurement, collection, analysis and reporting of data about learners in order to optimize learning outcomes.
